Treatment protocol |
R48 cells were derived from Kasumi-1 (K) cells by continuiously co-culture with dasatinib for 12 weeks. Treatment was initiated at 12 nM for 4 weeks and subsequently increased to 24 nM and 48 nM after 4 weeks, respectively. PR48 cells were derived from R48 cells by withdrawal of dasatinib and cessation of treatment for 1 week.

Growth protocol |
Kasumi-1 cells were grown at 0.5 x 10^6 cells/ml Gibco RPMI 1640 medium (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) supplemented with 20% fetal calf serum in a humidified incubator at 37°C with 5% CO2 atmosphere.
