A rare bacterial infectious disease caused by non-tuberculous mycobacteria (including <i>Mycobacterium avium</i> complex, <i>Mycobacterium kansasii</i>, or <i>Mycobacterium xenopi</i>, among others), characterized by chronic pulmonary disease with symptoms like chronic cough (with or without sputum production), chest pain, and weight loss.
