Fibronectin type III protein
This domain family is found in bacteria and viruses, and is typically between 126 and 146 amino acids in length. The family is found in association with Pfam:PF09327, Pfam:PF00041. There are two completely conserved G residues that may be functionally important. Many of the proteins in this family are annotated as fibronectin type III however there is little accompanying literature to confirm this. (from Pfam)
phage tail protein
This HMM hits a central region of bacterial phage host specificity protein J of phage lambda, a tail protein whose C-terminal region binds a host protein that serves as a phage receptor.
DUF1983 domain-containing protein
Members of this family of functionally uncharacterised domains are found in various bacteriophage host specificity proteins. (from Pfam)
FN3 and DUF3672 domain-containing protein
