type III secretion system export apparatus subunit SctR
This model describes protein SctR (Secretion and Cellular Translocation R), an export apparatus protein of the type III secretion system (T3SS) as found in many pathogenic bacteria. The homolog of SctR in flagellar systems is FliP (see TIGR01103). Lineage-specific names for SctR in various bacteria include YscR in Yersinia, BscR in Bordetella, EscR, SpaP, etc.
