P22AR C-terminal domain-containing protein
This domain was identified by Iyer and colleagues [1]. It is found associated with Pfam:PF10547. [1]. 11897024. Extensive domain shuffling in transcription regulators of DNA. viruses and implications for the origin of fungal APSES. transcription factors.. Iyer LM, Koonin EV, Aravind L;. BRO family protein
This family includes the N-terminus of baculovirus BRO and ALI motif proteins. The function of BRO proteins is unknown. It has been suggested that BRO-A and BRO-C are DNA binding proteins that influence host DNA replication and/or transcription [1]. This Pfam domain does not include the characteristic invariant alanine, leucine, isoleucine motif of the ALI proteins [2]. [1]. 10888617.
