glycosyltransferase
Diverse family, transferring sugar from UDP-glucose, UDP-N-acetyl- galactosamine, GDP-mannose or CDP-abequose, to a range of substrates including cellulose, dolichol phosphate and teichoic acids. (from Pfam)
TIGR04283 family arsenosugar biosynthesis glycosyltransferase
This enzyme, a putative glycosyltransferase, co-occurs with a radical SAM enzyme, now characterized as an enzyme of arsenosugar biosynthesis (TIGR04167), whose C-terminal domain (PF12345) frequently contains a selenocysteine. Other proposed members of the pathway include another transferase (TIGR04282), a methyltransferase, and a phosphoesterase.
