The UbiC transcription regulator-associated (UTRA) domain is a conserved ligand-binding domain that has a similar fold to Pfam:PF04345 [1]. It is believed to modulate activity of bacterial transcription factors in response to binding small molecules [1] sugar phosphates and urocanate, Matilla et. al., FEMS Microbiology Reviews, fuab043, 45, 2021, 1. https://doi.org/10.1093/femsre/fuab043).
