YrzI family small protein
Members of this family are very small proteins, about 47 residues each, in the genus Bacillus. Single members are found in Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus halodurans, while arrays of six members in tandem are found in Bacillus cereus and Bacillus anthracis. An EIxxE motif present in most members of this family resembles cleavage sites by the germination protease GPR in a number of small acid-soluble spore proteins (SASP). A role in sporulation is possible. (from Pfam)
