NUDIX domain-containing protein
nucleoside triphosphatase YtkD
nucleoside triphosphatase YtkD is involved in the GO system responsible for removing an oxidatively damaged form of guanine (7,8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine, 8-oxo-dGTP) from DNA and the nucleotide pool
RNA deprotection pyrophosphohydrolase
The functional assignment to the proteins of this family has been contentious. PMID:15576788 (2004) challenges the findings of reference PMID:14761999 (2004), both in interpretation and in enzyme assay results. This protein belongs to the Nudix family and shares some sequence identity with E. coli MutT but appears not to be functionally interchangeable with it. PMID:23610407 (23610407)
