trehalase-like domain-containing protein
This presumed domain is found at the N-terminal region of bacterial and archaeal trehalases which catalyse the hydrolysis of alpha,alpha-trehalose into two molecules of D-glucose, followed by the glycoside hydrolase domain (Pfam:PF00723). This domain is also found in the uncharacterised protein C4H3.03c from S. pombe. The function of this domain is not clear. (from Pfam)
glycoside hydrolase family 15 protein
In higher organisms this family is represented by phosphorylase kinase subunits. (from Pfam)
glycoside hydrolase family 15 protein similar to Mycobacterium tuberculosis trehalase, which hydrolyzes alpha,alpha-trehalose to yield two molecules of D-glucose
