Acetokinase family
This family includes acetate kinase, butyrate kinase and 2-methylpropanoate kinase. (from Pfam)
propionate kinase
propionate kinase catalyzes the conversion of propionyl phosphate and ADP to propionate and ATP
Catalyzes the formation of propanoyl phosphate from propanoate and ATP
acetate/propionate family kinase
This model has been updated to recognize that members of this family include both acetate and propionate kinases, some of which have both functions. In previous releases, this model was treated as an equivalog model for acetate kinase.
