putative T6SS immunity periplasmic lipoprotein
Members of this family, including SARI_02726 from Salmonella enterica subsp. arizonae and EC042_4532 from sequence type ST31 strains of enteroaggregative Escherichia coli, are associated with type VI secretion systems (T6SS), and suggested to be immunity proteins with periplasmic localization. A well-conserved lipoprotein-type signal peptide and two widely separated well-conserved or invariant Cys residues support an extracytoplasmic location.
