ABC transporter permease
This family is related to the ABC-2 membrane transporter family Pfam:PF01061 [1]. [1]. 1303751. A new subfamily of bacterial ABC-type transport systems catalyzing export of drugs and carbohydrates. Reizer J, Reizer A, Saier MH Jr;. Protein Sci 1992;1:1326-1332. (from Pfam)
ABC-2 transporter permease
ABC-2 transporter permease is the transmembrane component of an ABC-2 type transporter complex that mediates the ATP-mediated transport of one or more from a variety of substrates; similar to Escherichia coli heme exporter protein CcmB and Mycobacterium tuberculosis daunorubicin/doxorubicin resistance ABC transporter permease protein DrrB
lantibiotic immunity ABC transporter MutG family permease subunit
Model TIGR03731 represents the family of all lantibiotics related to gallidermin, including epidermin, mutatin, and nisin. This protein family is largely restricted to gallidermin-family lantibiotic cassettes, but also include orphan transporter cassettes in species that lack candidate lantibiotic precursor and synthetase genes. In most species, this subunit is paralogous to an adjacent gene modeled separate by TIGR03732, while in some species only one subunit is found.
