This family consists of K+-transporting ATPase, c chain, KdpC. KdpC forms strong interactions with the KdpA subunit, serving to assemble and stabilise the Kdp complex [1]. It has been suggested that KdpC could be one of the connecting links between the energy providing subunit KdpB and the K+-transporting subunit KdpA [1].
