DUF2080 family transposase-associated protein
This domain, found in various hypothetical archaeal proteins, has no known function. (from Pfam)
ISA1214 family protein
Members of this family appear restricted to the archaea. They tend to be encoded upstream of predicted transposase genes within insertion sequences such as ISNagr11, ISHca1, ISH36, etc. The widespread distribution suggests this protein may be more than a mere passenger gene and may participate in some transposase-associated function. See PF09853, COG3466, and arCOG03884 for alternative (currently narrow) treatments of this family.
