Csp1 family four helix bundle copper storage protein
Members of this family average about 150 amino acids in length, beginning with a twin-arginine translocation signal sequence, then a His-rich spacer region, followed by a ~105-residue region in which thirteen positions are nearly invariant Cys residues. Members are four helix bundle proteins. A protein from the methanotroph Methylosinus trichosporium OB3b was shown to be a copper storage protein.
four-helix bundle copper-binding protein
four-helix bundle copper-binding protein similar to Methylosinus trichosporium copper storage protein 1 (Csp1) that is exported from the cytosol, and stores copper for particulate methane monooxygenase
