YHYH domain-containing protein
Proteins with this form of YHYH motif-containing domain have it located near the N-terminus of a protein just after a signal peptide region. The domain has two characteristic motifs, GxC and YH[YC]H, separated by a short spacer region of variable length. A different family of YHYH domain-domaining proteins, in which the YHYH domain is more C-terminal and is repeated, is described by Pfam model PF14240.
