glycosyltransferase family protein
MJ1255/VC2487 family glycosyltransferase
This HMM represents nearly the full length of MJ1255 from Methanococcus jannaschii and of VC2487 from Vibrio cholerae, as well as the C-terminal half of a protein from Methanobacterium thermoautotrophicum. The most closely related characterized proteins all are glycosyltransferases. VC2487 is induced during infection of mice, and its deletion attenuates infection.
