CerR family C-terminal domain-containing protein
This HMM describes a homology domain found in the C-terminal region of a number of transcription factors, including CecR, whose N-terminus is homologous to the tetracycline resistance operon transcriptional repressor TetR. However, the domain described by this HMM does not resemble any authentic TetR protein. DNA-binding domain, including CecR. However, the region unrelated to any actual TetR protein.
TetR family transcriptional regulator
transcriptional regulator CecR
transcriptional regulator
HTH-type transcriptional regulator CecR/YbiH regulates transcription of the cecR-ybhGFSR operon and the rhlE gene, which altogether are involved in the control of sensitivity to cefoperazone and chloramphenicol
