U32 family peptidase C-terminal domain-containing protein
This domain is found at the C-terminus of many members of Peptidase family U32 (Pfam:PF01136). [1]. 23519421. Ultratight crystal packing of a 10 kDa protein. U32 family peptidase
peptidase U32 family protein
peptidase U32 family protein similar to Escherichia coli tRNA hydroxylation protein P (TrhP; formerly known as YegQ), is involved in prephenate-dependent 5-hydroxyuridine (ho5U) formation which is a first step in 5-carboxymethoxyuridine (cmo5U) formation
tRNA 5-hydroxyuridine modification protein YegQ
YegQ, as described in Escherichia coli, is one of four members of the U32 family of peptidase-like proteins, and the only one involved in conversion of uridine to 5-hydroxyuridine during modification of the wobble position base in certain tRNAs. Loss results in a partial, not total, block of that modification step.
