    Summary
    Enables G protein-coupled serotonin receptor activity. Involved in germ-band extension; positive regulation of feeding behavior; and serotonin receptor signaling pathway. Located in plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including adult protocerebrum; dorsal ectoderm; dorsal ectoderm anlage; ganglia; and large field neurons. Used to study generalized anxiety disorder. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis and steatotic liver disease.
