Nanopore direct RNA-seq reads were obtained in Japanese muskmelon 'Earl's Favorite Harukei-3'. Total RNA were isolated from various tissues of melon plants including leaves, root, stems, shoot apex, callus, dry seeds, imbibed seeds, germinating seedlings, petal, stigma, ovary, anthers in addition to 13 fruit development and maturation stages. RNA samples were combined and subjected to Nanopore direct RNA-seq.
