SRX5146446: RNA-Seq of Aphis fabae with or without Hamiltonella defensa: pool of 18 adult aphids
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 4000) run: 23.8M spots, 7.2G bases, 2.9Gb downloads

Design: RNA was isolated from four biological replicates (pools of 18 aphids each) per treatment with Trizol. DNase treated RNA was subjected to ribosomal depletion. Libraries were pooled onto all lanes and sequenced in two technical replicates.

Study: Impact of Hamiltonella defensa on Aphis fabae
show Abstracthide Abstract
Hamiltonella defensa is a secondary endosymbiont of several aphids. We analyse the reaction of a black bean aphid host and its obligatory endosymbiont Buchnera aphidicola to infection with Hamiltonella defensa.
