Acinetobacter baumannii is an important nosocomial pathogen that poses a serious health threat in Sudan. Due to its rapid ability to develop multidrug resistance (MDR), A. baumannii has increasingly become a focus of attention worldwide. In this project whole genome of A. baumannii was performed to better understand the genetic variation and antibiotic resistance mechanisms of this bacterium at the genomic level.
