Drug resistance remains a major challenge for tuberculosis control. Whole-genome sequencing (WGS) provides the highest genetic resolution for drug susceptibility tests (DST). We compared drug-susceptibility profiles of 62 M. tuberculosis isolates based on agar proportion, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) test and a WGS-based DST. The association between drug-resistance mutations and genotypic heteroresistance detected by WGS analysis and MIC of drugs was investigated.
