SRX10421328: DNA-PacBio
1 PACBIO_SMRT (Sequel II) run: 8.9M spots, 106.9G bases, 25.1Gb downloads

Design: The genomic DNA of ACB was extracted from the pupae using an AxyPrep Multisource Genomic DNA Miniprep Kit (Axygen, Union, CA, USA) according to the manufacturers instructions. A 20-kb SMRTbell template library was prepared using the SMRTbell Express Template Prep Kit 2.0 (PacBio, #100-938-900) from a single male pupa of F colony and then the size was selected by Blue Pippin (Sage Science, Beverly, MA, USA). Whole genome sequencing was performed commercially (Sinobiocore, Beijing, China) on a PacBio sequel II (Pacific Biosciences, Menlo Park, USA) system using V3 polymerase according to the manufacturers instructions.

Study: ostrinia furnacalis genome sequencing
show Abstracthide Abstract
Ostrinia furnacalis is an important economic insect of corn , sugarcane, millet, sorghum, etc. in Asian to western Pacific lands. Due to its phenotypic plasticity in voltinism, ACB can survival in either north cool temperate region or south tropical area. The voltinism of ACB may alter under global climate change. so we developed a highly reliable genome resource for O. furnacalis using Illumina and PacBio sequencing platforms.
