SRX11706141: Whole genome sequence of Pseudomonas lundensis: milk isolate M105
1 OXFORD_NANOPORE (MinION) run: 58,783 spots, 218.5M bases, 186.8Mb downloads

Design: M105 was grown cultured in LB media at room temperature and DNA isolation for whole-genome sequencing was done using the DNeasy Blood and Tissue kit (Qiagen). Sequencing libraries were prepared using Rapid barcode Kit (SQC-RBK001) and sequenced on an R9.4.1 flow cell for four hours using a MinION sequencer (Oxford Nanopore Technologies).

Pseudomonas lundensis is a psychrotrophic bacterium that is largely associated with spoilage of chilled meat, milk, and milk products. Here we report the complete genome sequence of two strains of Pseudomonas lundensis, M101 and M105. These strains were isolated from a US store-bought 1% pasteurized milk. A complete genome sequence will further our understanding of the role of P. lundensis in milk and chilled meat spoilage and enable us to perform comparative genomics with other strains.
Sample: Pseudomonas lundensis milk isolate M105
