SRX560288: Whole genome seq of Eschericia coli: bacteremia - blood-10-0223

Design: DNA was extracted using Wizard Genomic DNA Purification Kit (Promega). Shotgun sequencing libraries were prepared using the Nextera system (Epicentre BioTechnologies), PCR amplified using FailSafe E PCR mix (Epicentre), monitored by real-time PCR, and removed when exponential growth of product was first observed. Libraries were purified using Agencourt AMPure XP (Beckman Coulter).
