Design: Here we examined the possibility of using mutation-induced changes in mobility to separate the mutations with from those without detrimental effects on RNA structures. Mutants with stable structures can be separated from structure-destablized mutants by mobility-based assays (native PAGE), followed by high-throughput sequencing.
