SRX25293701: Low coverage whole genome sequencing of Catharus guttatus
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 23.7M spots, 7.1G bases, 2.3Gb downloads

Design: We extracted genomic DNA using DNeasy Blood & Tissue Kit (Qiagen) and prepared samples for sequencing as described by Therkildsen and Palumbi (2017) at Colorado State University. Paired-end 150bp Illumina sequencing was conducted across two lanes at Novogene (Sacramento, CA, USA).

Study: Genetic and morphological shifts in Catharus guttatus
show Abstracthide Abstract
Morphological shifts concordant with contemporary climate change have now been documented in a wide variety of systems. Despite the widespread documentation of morphological shifts, it is far from resolved whether these changes are driven by genetic shifts or plasticity, as few studies documenting contemporary morphological shifts are able to explicitly test for adaptation. We combine morphological and whole genome sequencing data to ask whether changes in body size and shape over the past four decades are accompanied by genetic shifts in Hermit Thrush.
