The present project was based on the whole genome sequencing of the chitinolytic bacteria that were isolated from the local vegetable fields. The isolated bacteria were screened for their antifungal activities against the fungal phytopathogens of vegetables and were found to be the potent antagonists against different fungal plant pathogens.
