show Abstracthide AbstractThis study aimed to characterize the genomic diversity of antibiotic-resistant E. coli and Klebsiella species in wastewater from a pediatric hospital in Lima, Peru. To assess the relevance of these organisms within the hospital setting, we also included clinical isolates of E. coli and Klebsiella obtained from urine and blood samples, allowing us to compare the circulating sequence types and resistance profiles between clinical and environmental sources.
