SRX2030931: Other Sequencing of Vibrio cholerae C6706
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 6M spots, 1.2G bases, 477Mb downloads

Design: Genomic DNA was isolated using ZR Fungal/Bacterial DNA MiniPrep kit (Zymo Research) and paired-end fragment libraries constructed using Nextera XT DNA Library Preparation Kit (Illumina) with a fragment length of 300bp.

Study: Vibrio cholerae Genome sequencing and assembly

Water-borne Vibrio cholerae bacteria can cause fatal cholera diarrhea. We report whole genome, ultra-deep sequencing of 24 non-clinical isolates from diverse locales, which may reveal diverse natural transformation and Type VI Secretion genes promoting fitness, pathogenicity, and exchange between bacteria.
Sample: Vibrio cholerae BH1514, Patient isolate C6706
