SRX1771176: Aspergillus rambellii genome sequencing
1 ION_TORRENT (Ion Torrent PGM) run: 6.3M spots, 2G bases, 1.4Gb downloads

Submitted by: (USDA-ARS-SRRC)
Study: Aspergillus bombycis strain:NRRL26010 Genome sequencing and assembly
show Abstracthide Abstract
A. bombycis is often misidentified due to its host preference, macro-morphological characters and chemotype profile. It was first identified as A. nomius, and has also been mistaken for A. flavus when a thorough examination was lacking. It is not known to be of agricultural significance, but it does produce B and G aflatoxins. Only through micro-morphological comparisons, aflatoxin analysis and molecular examination can this species be accurately distinguished from other closely related Aspergillus species.
