SRX9274837: Complete genome sequence of Paenibacillus polymyxa ZF129
1 PACBIO_SMRT (Sequel) run: 1.4M spots, 12.2G bases, 2.9Gb downloads

Design: The genome DNA was extracted from cultured ZF129 and the genome of P. polymyxa ZF129 was sequenced
Submitted by: Institute of Vegetables and Flowers, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences
Study: Paenibacillus polymyxa strain:ZF197 Genome sequencing
show Abstracthide Abstract
Paenibacillus polymyxa was isolated from soil and is a member of a group of free-living soil bacteria known to promote plant growth and suppress plant pathogens. Plants treated with Paenibacillus polymyxa have increased resistance to plant pathogens and increased drought resistance. This organism has been shown to produce a number of compounds with antifungal or antibacterial activity.
