It also includes the HATPase domains of Escherichia coli YpdA and YehU, HKs of YpdA-YpdB and YehU-YehTCSs, which are involved together in a nutrient sensing regulatory network. Proteins having this HATPase domain also contain a histidine kinase domain (His-kinase), some having accessory sensor domain(s) such as Cache, HAMP or GAF; some are hybrid sensor histidine kinases as they also contain a REC signal receiver domain.
