83-153 5.73e-26

Cdc14 phosphatase binding protein N-terminus; Cytokinesis in yeasts involves a family of proteins whose essential function is to bind Cdc14-family phosphatase and prevent this from being sequestered and inhibited in the nucleolus. This is the highly conserved N-terminus of a family of proteins which act as cytokinesis checkpoint controls by allowing cells to cope with cytokinesis defects. These proteins are required for rDNA silencing and mini-chromosome maintenance.
