This family consists of small hypothetical proteins, about 100 amino acids in length. The family includes five members (three in tandem) in Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 and in Pseudomonas putida (strain KT2440), four in Pseudomonas syringae DC3000, and single members in several other Proteobacteria. The function is unknown.
