Infection with bradyzoites has a diminished impact on host transcript levels relative to tachyzoite infection.

(Submitter supplied) 5 arrays per condition (covering 3 biological replicate experiments) were performed on Human Foreskin Fibroblasts (HFFs) at 44 hours post infection. The four experimental conditions include uninfected "standard", uninfected "stress", tachyzoite-infected "standard+TZ", and bradyzoite-infected "stress+BZ". Microarray Analysis of Dupuytren's Disease Tissues

(Submitter supplied) PURPOSE: Dupuytren's disease (DD) is characterized by fibroblastic proliferation of the palmar fascia, often leading to flexion contracture in the hand. Although there is a strong genetic component the genome-wide expression of novel genes is not known. The purpose of this study was to use DNA microarray technology to identify upregulated genes in DD.
