(Submitter supplied) Background: Drug-eluting stents (DES) have rapidly become a standard therapy for treatment of obstructive coronary artery disease. Differences exist in therapeutic responses to different DES formulations, and mechanisms to predict drug responses in the preclinical setting have not been standardized.
