Pristane-induced arthritis effect on AIRmin low acute inflammation model: footpad

Analysis of footpad from outbred animals with low (AIRmin) acute inflammation following two injections of pristine at 60-day intervals. Arthritis development was examined twice weekly for 160 days. Results provide insight into molecular mechanisms underlying arthritis induction and progression.

Expression data from footpad of AIRmax and AIRmin mice submitted to pristane arthritis induction

(Submitter supplied) Mice selected for high and low acute inflammation were tested for pristane induced arthritis, showing to be susceptible and resistant, respectively. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression underlying arthritis progression during induction and identified distinct classes of differentially expressed genes during this process in the footpad of these mice.

Normal lung transcriptome distinguishes mouse lines with different susceptibility to inflammation and to tumorigenesis

(Submitter supplied) AIRmax and AIRmin mouse lines show a differential lung inflammatory response and differential lung tumor susceptibility after urethane treatment, thus constituting a good genetic model to investigate differences in gene expression profiles related to inflammatory response and lung tumor susceptibility. The transcript profile of ~24,000 known genes was analyzed in normal lung tissue of untreated and urethane-treated AIRmax and AIRmin mice. more...
