Involved in positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts upstream of or within cellular response to leukemia inhibitory factor; germ cell development; and in utero embryonic development. Located in cytoplasm and nucleus. Part of protein-containing complex. Is expressed in several structures, including central nervous system; early conceptus; gonad; tail; and ureter.
