Platform GPL2749 Query DataSets for GPL2749
Status Public on Dec 08, 2005
Title Stanford Caulobacter crescentus printing Z
Technology type spotted oligonucleotide
Distribution non-commercial
Organism Caulobacter vibrioides
Manufacturer Stanford University
Manufacture protocol The microarrays for this study were printed using the GeneMachines Omnigrid Microarrayer with Telechem 16-pin ArrayIt Stealth MicroSpotting Pins. Oligo sequences were chosen to satisfy the following criteria: be a unique sequence in the genome, be located near the 5’ end of the gene, approximately 100 base pairs downstream of the predicted start codon, have similar melting temperatures, and have minimal predicted secondary structure formation. The oligos were modified at the 5’ end with a six-carbon spacer followed by a primary amino group and diluted to 20µM for printing. Aldehydesilane coated slides (Schott Nexterion-slide AL) and QMT Spotting Solution I (Quantifoil) were used. Arrays use the same oligos as those in Platform GPL1076.

Description Spotted oligonucleotide array on aldehyde coated glass.
The array contains at least 1 50-mer probe for each ORF in Caulobacter crescentus.
