Description
The Human Genome Wide Splice Array 1.0 contains over six million oligonucleotides designed to monitor expression of 20,649 genes and interrogate evidenced and predicted alternative splicing events. Alternative splicing events were identified by comparing the exon structure of a selected representative sequence from a gene to the putative exon structure of overlapping and related public sequences (including RefSeq, mRNA and EST databases from GenBank). Probes were designed to monitor the alternative isoforms indicated.
