Summary Pig oocytes were stained with Brilliant cresyl blue to identify mtDNA deficient oocytes.
 
Overall design RNA sequencing was performed on pooled oocytes (n=5 per group) and single oocytes to determine differences between mtDNA-normal and mtDNA-deficient oocytes.
