Title |
mRNA loading on polysomes in skeletal muscle of Eif6 heterozygous mice |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
Gastrocnemius muscle from Eif6 heterozygous mice and wild-type mice was used in a polysome profiling experiment. Total RNA was extracted from the whole muscle and from monosome/polysome fractions and profiled using Agilent gene expression arrays.

Overall design |
Three mutant mice were compared to three wild-type mice, age 8-16 weeks. Gastrocnemius muscle from each mouse was used to isolate total RNA from whole muscle, and mRNA from monosome and polysome fractions. Each RNA sample was profiled using whole genome Agilent gene expression arrays. Only the polysome samples and total RNA samples were used in the analysis (pmid: 29117557)
