Title Long noncoding RNA LSINCT5 is up-regulated and related to progression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary We aim to evaluate the expression and putative role of LSINCT5 on progression of ESCC. The expression of LSINCT5 was first examined in ESCC cell lines using RT-qPCR method. Using next-generation RNA-Seq technology, the differential gene expression before and after the knockdown of LSINCT5 in ESCC was analyzed and functionally annotated.

Overall design To explore the putative functional role of LSINCT5 in ESCC, we performed differential gene expression analysis of the mRNAs from ESCC cells before and after knockdown of LSINCT5 by transfection with siRNA using next-generation RNA-Seq technology and functional annotation to identify pathways of interest.
