Title |
POSH2 Promotes Breast Cancer Stem-Like Properties through JNK Activation and PTX3 Upregulation [HMLER_sublines] |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
We conduct transcriptome comparison of HMLER-derived CD44H,CD44LS and CD44L subpopulation cells to gain transcriptomic insights on the differences between breast cancer stem cells and non-breast cancer stem cells.

Overall design |
In the study presented here,CD44+CD24-(CD44H) cells and CD44-CD24+(CD44L) cells were sorted from HMLER cells by flow cytometry. CD44L cells were cultured in low adhesion plate with tumorsphere medium for several generations and we got the new subpopulation,CD44LS. RNA sequencing profiling of mRNA levels was performed in these three subpopulation cells.
