Summary This study examines the circadian gene expression of whole kidneys of young and nephritic NZB/W F1 mice
 
Overall design Young mice were harvested at 12 weeks of age. Nephritic mice were harvested 2-3 weeks after nephritis onset (>300mg/dl proteinuria) but before the development of endstage renal failure (BUN >25). Kidneys were perfused with PBS and total RNA was isolated from perfused mouse kidneys using TRIzol reagent
