Title |
Whole transcriptome analysis of human kidney cells after exposure to Ochratoxin A |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a nephrotoxin that has been associated with kidney damages. The goal of this project was to identified which impact had nanomolar concentrations of this toxin on cells derived from human kidney in order to identify putative key regulators and underlying mechanisms of the already described phenotypes (e.g. increased apoptosis, dysregulated cell cycle)

|
Overall design |
RNASequencing of HK-2 and HEK293-T cells after 48 hours exposure to OTA (final concentrations: 0,10,100nM) Raw RNASequencing data were treated successively with Cutadapt (adaptor removal), Tophat (mapping) and featureCounts (counting).
